Jair Bolsonaro, the right-wing candidate for the October 12 presidential election in Brazil, announced on Friday his intention to resume his campaign on October 12, five days after the first round.
The second round is scheduled for October 28th.
The right-wing candidate was the victim of a stabbing assassination attempt in early September. He is still hospitalized.
According to a poll released Monday by Globo, Jair Bolsonaro remains ahead of the voting intentions, but the candidate of the Workers Party (PT, left), Fernando Haddad, continues to grow.
Jair Bolsonaro said on Friday that he would not accept the result of the presidential election if he was not the winner.
