S-400 Russian missile deliveries to Turkey will begin in July, Russian arms export company Rosoboronexport, quoted by the Interfax news agency, said on Wednesday.

“Everything has already been negotiated and concluded,” said the director of this company, Alexander Mikheev.

The United States threatened Turkey with sanctions if it concluded a contract to buy S-400 with Russia. Ankara believes that such a purchase should not trigger sanctions, as Turkey is not an opponent of Washington and remains attached to the NATO of which it is a member.
