After three days of debate from Tuesday to Thursday, the Supreme Court, the highest British body, ruled Boris Johnson’s suspension of parliament “illegal”. The Prime Minister suspended Parliament for five weeks ahead of Brexit, a decision criticized by his critics as a maneuver to get the UK out of the EU at any cost.

Labor opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn on Tuesday called on Boris Johnson to step down after the British Supreme Court overturned the suspension of the parliament by the Conservative prime minister. Speaking at the Labor Party Congress in Brighton (South), Jeremy Corbyn “invited Boris Johnson to reconsider his position” and to “become the most ephemeral Prime Minister ever”.
